Transportation

Thanks to its excellent airport, it is just a short journey away, an average of two hours from most European capitals by air.

Airport is located 8 kilometres east of the capital Palma. It is the third largest airport in Spain after Madrid–Barajas and Barcelona.

There are numerous ferry crossings operating from Spain to Mallorca. Ferries currently connect 4 ports in Spain with 2 ports in Mallorca.

The island offers great public transportation, mostly operated by bus. There is also a small subway and train network.

Unfortunately services as Lyft and Uber are banned on the island.
